CONFIDENTIALITY & PRIVACY
Ruthless guarantees complete confidentiality and discretion. Your information will never be disclosed to third parties without your consent. By entering into a contract with Ruthless, you agree that your personal details will be securely held and used solely for the services provided by Ruthless.

PHOTOGRAPHY
Ruthless will seek your consent, through another form, to take and use photographs, including before and after shots, to showcase her work. With your permission, Ruthless may utilise these photographs as examples on her website and social media platforms. The photographs will always be anonymized, ensuring your identity remains confidential unless you have granted explicit permission.

WORKING HOURS, CANCELLATION & PAYMENTS

WORKING HOURS
Ruthless conducts a complimentary telephone or video consultation before scheduling a session. During this consultation, Ruthless collaborates with you to determine the estimated number of hours required. However, it may not always be possible to provide an exact estimate, as certain projects may necessitate more sessions or hours due to unique factors.

A half-day session typically lasts up to 3 hours, while a full-day session typically lasts up to 7 hours. If a session exceeds these timeframes, an additional charge of £25 per hour will apply for the extra hours worked. Ruthless will always notify you when the booked time is up and seek your permission to continue if desired. When working on decluttering projects, Ruthless will accommodate your pace, considering the physical and emotional demands. Breaks can be taken as needed, but please be aware that these breaks will count towards the duration of the booked session. During a full day session, a break of up to 30 minutes will be taken, for which you will not be charged.

TRAVEL COSTS
Mileage up to 10 miles is covered within the fee. For distances exceeding 10 miles, a charge of £0.45 per mile will apply.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Ruthless understands that both parties may need to reschedule a session.

Rescheduling a session:

  • No charge for rescheduling 10 days before a session.

  • 50% charge for 10-2 days before a session.

  • 100% charge for less than 48 hours.

PAYMENT TERMS
To secure your session, a 50% advance payment of the project's initial cost is required for new clients, unless otherwise discussed.

After the initial discussions and mutual agreement on the Terms & Conditions, Ruthless will send an invoice via email, and subsequent sessions will be confirmed upon receipt of the 50% advance payment. The full payment is due within three working days after the session concludes. Ruthless accepts cash, direct bank transfers or card payments on the day. Please note that Ruthless reserves the right to increase rates at any time. Sessions booked prior to a rate increase will not be affected.

REMOVAL OF PERSONAL ITEMS FOR DONATION OR RECYCLING
The decluttering process focuses on determining which possessions and items you wish to Retain or Remove. During this process, you may decide to part with items you no longer need. The decision to keep or discard an item is entirely yours. Ruthless offers guidance to help you determine your needs in your home, but the final decision is yours. Therefore, Ruthless cannot be held responsible for the consequences of such decisions or any possessions/items that have been discarded.

REMOVAL OF POSSESSIONS
We encourage recycling items or donating them to registered charities. You may also choose to sell possessions you no longer need. Ruthless does not provide valuation services or possess expertise in identifying items of special value or rarity.

Ultimately, the responsibility for disposing of possessions or items lies with you. You must exercise your own discretion when removing items from your premises, either for disposal or relocation. No disposal will occur without your authorisation. You assume responsibility for any items disposed of during the decluttering process. If feasible, Ruthless is willing to assist with disposal, such as taking small items to local charity shops, provided she is able to do so. In such cases, Ruthless will charge a small fee to remove these items.

For larger items, it is your responsibility to arrange their removal. Ruthless can recommend for a company or charity to assist, subject to your approval.

PURCHASE OF PRODUCTS

PURCHASE & RETURN OF ORGANISATION PRODUCTS
Following the initial consultation, Ruthless can advise on which storage products for the client to purchase ahead of the scheduled session.

It is the client's responsibility to check the measurements of their cupboards and of the products to ensure they will fit.

PRODUCTS ASSEMBLY
Ruthless is happy to assemble small organisation items. However, for larger items like furniture, you will need to assemble them yourself or find someone to assist you.

Ruthless will need to be notified in advance if this is required, so the relevant tools are brought on site, and time allowance is given to the assembly.

OTHERS

PERSONAL SAFETY
Ruthless typically works alone and shares her whereabouts and session schedule with her partner solely for health and safety purposes. This information will not be shared with anyone else, and it will not be saved after the sessions.

ACCESS
Please ensure there is easy access outside and inside your home. Ruthless cannot move large furniture. If the working area is deemed unsafe, Ruthless reserves the right to cancel the session without a refund.

RECOMMENDATIONS
Ruthless may suggest additional products and services offered by third parties. While she strives to recommend high-quality options, she cannot be held responsible or liable for any direct or consequential loss or damage resulting from these products or services.

CLEANING
Ruthless will wipe surfaces before returning items, with the client providing the cleaning products. Ruthless does not provide full cleaning services, however can recommend where possible, local cleaners.
